Thanks for shopping AUM Bookstore for all of your campus needs!

Course materials serve as tools of the trade to inform students and guide them toward subject mastery and classroom success.

All course materials are selected by instructors and ordered accordingly.

Web Orders are processed within 2 to 3 business days of AUM Bookstore receiving the order. Web Orders that are being shipped will typically arrive at the provided address in 5-7 business days. During peak times at the beginning of each semester delivery times may take longer.

A valid AUM student I.D. and a register receipt are required for all refunds. Refund periods on textbooks vary; please refer to your receipt for refund eligibility. DO NOT WRITE in new books until you are certain that you won't need to return them. New books must be in perfect condition for a full refund. School and art supplies, software (if unopened), and all non-course related items can be returned for a refund only on the day of purchase.

A valid AUM Student I.D. is required to obtain a buyback. There is no guarantee of a buyback; however, the AUM Bookstore strives to buyback as many textbooks as possible at one half of the selling price. Once quantity requirements have been met books with national demand may be bought for up to one third of the new book price. All books originally sold with CD’s, access codes, and supplements must have that item to be eligible for buyback. Old edition textbooks have no buyback value.

All Students interested in renting textbooks must have a valid AUM Student I.D. and be currently registered for the term wanting to rent textbooks. The textbook rental fee is 35% to 65% of the new textbook price and is due at the time of purchase.  Students may pay with cash, credit cards, personal check, and qualifying financial aid (if available).

Refund eligibility on textbook rental purchases will be noted on your receipt and varies during a semester.

All rented textbooks may be written in pencil only.   No highlighting or ink.   Failure to adhere with this policy will result in the full amount of the textbook being charged to the student.   Lost, stolen and damaged textbooks are the responsibility of the student.

Returning textbooks:  all textbook rentals are due at the AUM Bookstore by the close of business the day after final exams and are subject to review by an AUM Bookstore staff member.  Failure to return the rented textbook by this time will result in the total purchase price, plus applicable sales tax, charged to the student’s account.  There is no credit for the rental fee.  There is no guarantee of a buyback on a rented textbook that has been charged to your account.   Students may review their accounts in WEBSTER.

At the discretion of the AUM Bookstore Manager, charges for rented textbooks not returned by the due date may be waived on account of sickness, injury, or family emergency provided the student has a notification of absence, and proper documentation of the circumstances.

 WARHAWK Access Card

The WARHAWK Access Card is the official identification card for students, faculty and staff of Auburn University at Montgomery.   A valid WARHAWK Access Card is required for entry into the Wellness Center, to use AUM Library services, and printer services in the student computer labs.  New Students, Faculty or Staff may obtain a new card any time during store hours at the AUM Bookstore located on the main floor of the Taylor Center.

This card should be carried at all times and is not transferable.  Your Warhawk Access Card is permanent and valid as long as you are enrolled student or employee of the University. The card should be retained by students during semesters not enrolled for use when returning to school.

For students who are taking advantage of Residence Life, your WARHAWK Access Card is also your key to admittance in the buildings and your specific room.  Please notify Residence Life personnel immediately if your card is lost or stolen.

In addition to your identification card, the mandatory meal funds reside on this card.  These funds may be used in the Roost Dining, AUMazing Bean Coffee Shop, and at select vending machines around campus.

Students, Faculty, and Staff may add additional funds to their WARHAWK Access Card via our Warhawk Card Deposit link or by visiting the AUM Bookstore.   There are no fees associated with adding funds to your card and additional funds added do not expire.

Payment Methods

As of June 1, 2021, the AUM Bookstore will no longer be accepting cash. Current acceptable forms of payment include the WARHAWK Access Card, all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, student financial aid and personal checks. For students with a financial aid credit, those funds can also be applied to your WARHAWK Access Card as long as the credit balance is available. This service is available only in person at the AUM Bookstore.

All patrons should immediately report the loss of their WARHAWK Access Card to the AUM Bookstore (334-244-3578) or Campus Police (only when AUM Bookstore is closed).  You will be responsible for all charges until the card is reported lost.  A fee will be charged for replacement of a lost or stolen card.
